14. November 2021 | 11:00 - 15:00
Date: Sunday, November 14, 2021; 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Location: Graphic Foundation Neo Rauch, Aschersleben
In November, as usual on the second Sunday of the month, we offer a public guided tour through the current exhibition VORDER MITTEL HINTERGRUND. The names of Hartwig Ebersbach (*1940), Stefan Guggisberg (*1980) and Neo Rauch (*1960), from three successive generations of artists, are inextricably linked with the Hochschule für Grfik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. The renowned institution was founded in 1764 as a “Drawing, Mahlerey and Architecture Academy” and is considered one of the oldest art colleges in Germany. Over the course of time, the name changed several times and with it its focus on artistic education. The guided tour will explicitly refer to the tradition-rich autonomous art academy, which plays a significant role both in terms of education and teaching.
Registration is required for the event, as each tour is limited to a maximum of 20 people.
The regular admission price of €4 per person applies, reduced €2.50. Children and young people up to 18 years of age are admitted free of charge. The tour will be held in English.
